Looks as though Pat Moran will get a run. He has been a first 13 pick for Sheffield for their last 11 games so it will be interesting to see if he has kicked on.

Moran need to play and he needs to impress. Huge game for him if he gets a shot.

Tasi and Walker to miss out for me.

If Pat Moran is now being picked ahead of Westwood, it really is all over for Super Bennie.

Is Westwood injured, or out of favour?

The squad is feeling a bit stale for me, so I hope that both.Moran and Burrell get big minutes, have good games and establish themselves.

We have to match London's enthusiasm and a couple of new faces will help.

Quite agree that we miss the Westwood of 2-3 years ago. He was exactly the sort of prop we are lacking now; direct running at defences, a handful during the tackle, always made ground.

Agree about Westwood, we do miss him. We also miss the BMM we purchased from Salford where he played substantial minutes and achieved a place in the SL team of the year. Aku does look encouraging though.

To have any chance of success this season, our forwards need to be able to gain control of the ruck area. Without this, we haven't really got a chance as we lack the creativity to unlock defences like Hull and Saints - we don't really have any alternative attacking structures (as was mentioned on here a month or two back) aside from plan A and the capitalization on our opponents errors.

(This post also follows on from the SP thread so I'll post it on there as well)
