Any excuse to bring that up for the billionth time, eh Judder Man. Are you Eddie Hemmings?

Did you think it was good marketing initiative, or not, as that is all it was?

Aren’t Hull interesting one week total rubbish, the next week world beaters and repeat. As for Saints they are the team to beat, just like last season. Let them carry the “favourites “ tag, no pressure on us as nothing is expected of us.

Exactly, they could easily go in a hull esque slide next week for no reason at all

They've lost 16 out of the last 17 finals and semi-finals they played in.

That really is deserving of the title of bottlers.

That’s wrong as to have won the Grand Final in 2014 we must have won a semi final and then the final itself so that would be two wins not one. And even so, we’ve still won a final more recently than Warrington. Always does make me laugh when Wire fans try and have a dig at our semi final record.

I think we laugh louder...
Anyway...is a grand final qualifier a semi final?

Indeed we should, we are far better than last year and there are no serial winners in our way this time. Only team who can stop us is ourselves.

Takes one game for the odds on favourites not to perform like last year when you were nailed on to win both semi's and what happened..you got thumped in both..having lost at London it gives us inferior teams hope..

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

I,m not sure if it was cost effective in promoting the game, there is always plenty of away support anyway plenty enough to give it that home game feeling. Percival mentioned something on SKY Sports that the Saints players are always up for this game of late and I don't think our players look too far ahead, Percival also mentioned they take things week by week so I would imagine Wire are only in their heads this coming week.

Must admit that it did make me wonder as to whom it was pitched at. As it flew over St Helens, I assumed it was to try and gain some additional away support, but agree with you that Saints bring more to the HSJ than any other away team. So, yes, I would guess it wouldn't be cost effective. As for trying to distract Saints, I just don't get it and doubt it working. If it was to try and drum up some home support, as it was shown at ht against Trinity, then the rugby on show certainly didn't help.

Something needs to be done to market superleague, as the RFL and Sky do very very little. However, I'm not sure that this is the way forward, although it was some light relief in the middle of a poor game.
