No. That's Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard getting some practice in. They've been coming for years, in a daft shaped American car. Their favourite player is Chris Hill, as they think he's a Rough Boy

Neither glass half full or empty. Just a realist.

Only problem with a legs only tackle is the bill would be released in every tackle virtually. “They can’t run without their legs” remains true, but they can pass if their arms are free.
And no it isn’t me shouting “legs” either!

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

There were very few passes got out when a guy is going down from a tackle around the legs...I would even say there is more sucessful offloading from body height tackles.

I've not seen the Wakefield one, but they might have a point on the Hull one. He very deliberately aims the shoulder high on the Hull player and it is very dangerous contact. If it's banned for the tackler, I don't see how it's any safer for the ball carrier to do it. I'd suggest un-banning the shoulder charge for the tackler as well, but make it so shoulder contact with the head is a minimum 12 game ban.

He should have more of an issue about his players tackle technique.

I'm a Saints fan and i thought it was a good run and a poor tackle. The day we say you can't run in shoulder first is the day i stop watching the sport.

i've read another report, the injury was from the whiplash hitting the ground, thats got very little to do with his running stylee.

On the other side of the coin though if the ball carrier is allowed to charge in with the shoulder then the tackler must be allowed to do so as well as long there is no direct contact with the head.

The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.
