About two or three years ago maybe, but there’s a reason why he’s at Widnes in the Championship. Signing him says a lot about where we are and Super League in general really.

He's not even the best centre in the Championship. Ricky Lutele is.

Yes he signed for them prior to relegation and honoured his contract.

Again he is still a better centre than our current options

Is it only me who wants to see Currie moved to centre? He may have lost some pace, but is still quicker than king. Also, he has the hands and brains to give his winger perfectly timed passes. See Gene ormsby hat trick at Salford if you need convincing.

Super League is becoming like the government cabinet whereby is you are the minister of defence and.make a total hash of it, rather than being consigned to obscurity you just get made foreign minister (or PM).

Its becoming a roundabout of mediocrity.

I cannot believe that the likes of Toulouse in the championship, the lower reaches of RU, the reserve grades of the NRL or, heaven forbid, our youth setup there ian't some fresh talent that will seize a chance and run through brick walls to make it happen.
