Totally agree, Child's is very poor at correct reading of players bad behaviour, mainly Catalan who have general bad attitude, context everything as being unfair, try to cause unnecessary injuries,but when you get a poor official miss reading things, all players get frustrated & bingo, however he will not be called into question, only the players will.
No one can tell me that official would get a job in the NRL , if he dared to apply !

Child’s completely lost that game and not surprised our players retaliated in the face of pure thuggery from that Catalan team.

Gave up at 18-10 as I was totally bored senseless with a dire tedious niggly game.
Missed whatever grubby stuff happened as a finale, and frankly I don't care.

Going back to the rugby......

I thought our defensive effort for the vast majority of the match was excellent (despite the scoreline), but when we had the ball we made far too many errors, and when we didn't have it we gave away high shot penalties.

Captains need a cool head.
Hill doesn't. (Mçlllorum was nevertheless a total grub determined to rile Hill and others - ripping Hills head guard off amongst other things).

Ratch and Daryl once again stood out. Think Toby had a decent match too.
Think we might be missing Austin for next week.

For every good thing Mamo does, he drops a clanger. A lot is down to confidence but we need Charnley back - as long as he doesn't play for penalties like Lineham does and gets caught.....

I don't really like the way Cats play, but it's allowed so we have to deal with it.
Didn't have the nouse to do that.

Rat Boy had a 90 minute conversation this game. Unacceptable.
Why other players back chat to the ref is beyond me.

Sam Tomkins is still the best fullback in Superleague and by quite a distance.

Catalan have always been grubs but Wire seem to have changed massively in playing style since Smith left.
