Ryan Sutton was an absolute suet pudding.
As Saddo said....only Tompkins shined, Austin was alert to the concept trying to shift it wide where he could, but we had only 2 wingers who are both paceless.

Yeah i thought the Ryan Hall selection was bizzarre, Must have just been a case of he's already in Australia so lets save some airfare, he looks massive like he's decided to be a bodybuilder. He's always been big but jesus he's huge now. To be fair to Chris Hill he's put in some really good displays through the year but he's definately not as good as he used to be. I genuinely don't think Bennett watches much super league as he still picks players not in form etc

The likes of Ryan Hall, James Graham, Sutton, Burgess shouldn’t of be selected it’s more down to the fact they are already in the Southern Hemisphere. As previously suggest you need fast & elusive players in this style of Rugby. A young British coach would of been better suited for coaching this side like a Danny Ward/Ian Watson type. With 4 big plodders named in the squad your asking for trouble.

Ian Watson and Danny Ward are both assistant coaches to Wayne Bennett.

Saddened says it is about not needing to put numbers into the tackle. It is about time the 13 a side game got back to that format & got away from the time consuming gang tackles.

I watched the games and was a surprised with how we played. It's only a bit different from 7's and you do not need big lads bashing it up. Not a game for props. Stand deep and move ball & keep away from tackles and gaps appear. Don't really think we have really thought about this.

Could it be Wayne was using it as prep for our GB spine Austin Widdop Tomkins Clark and Australia based props who were wanting a run out with them?

I'd like to think this is what he was doing....collateral....I do like a conspiracy theory.

Might be rubber ... but from what I saw it was not clever. Even the wife couldn't understand how they were playing. I was at Twickers and watched Wigan win RU Middlesex 7's and they adapted perfectly to the different game.

I remember Warrington winning the British Coal 9s....and wining it with a team of speedsters....Wire are still the holders!!
