I really think it's the armband. Let him be club captain and appoint Hughes as on field captain. Hill with discipline is still a very good prop, I think he was a little unlucky last night, definitely a red by letter of the law but there was absolutely no malice in it. Maybe a little more match sharpness and that doesn't happen.

What a grub Hill is, remember 2012-2015 when all he was interested in was making metres and playing the ball quickly.

Shame, could have been a great player.

Well at least he's left it til late to become a grub unlike your current vastly overrated young crop. Are Partington and Smithies trying to replace their missing chromosomes with steroids?

I bet they weren't interested at all in George burgess until he got done for eye gouging when he suddenly became a match for Wigan, up until that point they were too busy desperately trying to sign folau. Smithies seems to learn fast from his peers too. He's a good player but a grub of the highest order.

Austin munched him the next tackle aswell, comes across and absolute bell smithies and deserves a few match ban no place for eye gouges/rakes in the game. Wouldn’t shock me if hill got a game or two. Silly as we were marching up field before he went off.

Price must take the arm band off Hill, he is a complete liability at present which is no change from last season.

Sorry but don't see the huge up in arms. It was a dead cert try and all Hill could to do to prevent that was to smash him. He waits until the ball hits the player and then tries to belt him and knock the ball loose. He does, but connected with the head, not malicious at all. I think if Hill hits the shoulders then Powell not expecting the hit would have lost the ball anyway. It was the right play and just wrong execution.

Had to be done in a split second and simply unfortunate.

Aside from that he was having a really good game bar the French try. Saw no reason IN THIS GAME to strip Hill of captain. Last few seasons though, sure.

props will be props... stupid thread... massive overreaction.

lets look at it 6-8 games in... one soft sending off and the other props played well. and we have a thread about props. Ridiculous.
