Eye gouge video doesn’t show Smithies hands anywhere near Austin’s face. Absolutely pathetic showing that from Austin, especially after the way he pushed Burgess over when he was getting back up (after being steam rolled by BMM). Needs to concentrate on rugby and not chasing the ref or that poop haircut.

I agree it was't an eye gouge, but Austin doesn't accuse him of that, it was just grab of his face - seen worse.

Austin was definitely accusing of face rather than eyes, and he was livid. I think the disciplinary will find it inconclusive, the forearm to the throat however looked blatant and he will be lucky to escape sanction. (He being whoever it was!)

Back on prop topic...we lose one prop and we're fecked.
We said it over and over we need another top prop at least. If the message isn't driven home this week, connections at Wire will never get it.

He wasn't outstanding but got through plenty of work. If you'd put the best prop forward in the world in that Widnes performance yesterday he'd have struggled to look anything other than ordinary
Have no SL teams shown any interest in London's Eddie Battye? Top player in my humble opinion
