If you looked at his highlight reel for the MoS awards his play is top draw against Salford, Hull KR, Wakefield and Huddersfield but not one clip against a top four side.
Therein lies the problem with current scoring for MoS award, compounded by the shortened season this year.
I would have him behind Roby, Powell and even Clarke in terms of performance at hooker this year.
His family is happy about it, so that’s reason enough and good enough for me. No one stands out a long way....so I’ve no complaints. For sure, no one at Wire deserves it.
