Or playing for a contract. All players seem to up their game when out of contract.

Lineham has consistently been a very solid performer. It's the disciplinary bit that's let him down.

He does have brain explosions when he has to think what to do in defence rather than just react.

I do rate him but wish he would stay upright for longer when carrying the ball. I'm sure he lifts more weight in the gym than most other players. Why not barge into defenders the way Sita does. Goes low too soon for me. His interceptions are brilliant watching him run the 90m he seems to do with ease as well. I think he is fitter than he actually looks.
