Next week will be the 1 year anniversary of his signing.

I was watching the team run prior to the cas game and he wasn't even involved with the non playing squad members on the pitch, and just doing boxing on the sideline. He's either got a lower body injury or hopelessly unfit, which after 12 months is a bit embarrassing for all involved.

I think he's a long way off yet, otherwise we'd hearing about his progress every week building it up towards his debut. We've already played Leigh, and we won't see lower league opposition again in the cup, so I guess he'll be blooded mid-season if we play a weakened team prior to the cup semi-final should we get there.

Nice marketing ploy though if it comes off, but if it backfires and he ends up playing one game I think there would be a few returns on GI gear at the club store.

Maybe it’s all contingent on how much of his merchandise he sells before considering playing, on another note he had signed to play for us a long time ago, all this is he fit is BS, what was he doing all this time sat eating donuts and ice cream??

It's embarrassing, really. It seems as though he's either not put in the effort or there's some issue we're not being told about. Especially for him not being ready enough to play vs Swinton.

I don't expect anything good from his time at Warrington.

I would have thought the pre-season exercises have put too much strain on part of his body and he's pulled something ... like calf or hammy.
Happens a lot ... especially to oldies. Wire are unlikely to inform the world (and other teams) about any injury.
It is amazing how many injuries some clubs have had and several players at Leeds & Wigan have not started at the start of the season.

Just been following the SP online press interview. GI won't feature this weekend and he's 1, 2 or 3 weeks away (but will play before fans are back on 17th May). Apparantly training with the squad now.

Indeed. Price did say a fortnight ago that if he didn't make the Swinton game it would be Hull. All a bit odd really

It all feels like an anti-climax at the moment. But if we get to the back end of the season and have a version of Greg Inglis that's even anywhere near his old self, it will be worth it. That's my hope, at least...and it's always the hope that kills you!
