I see that Doro has been recalled from Widnes and will not feature for them this weekend. I saw a few comments suggesting that he'd been going quite well for them. I thought Price said that we had no new injury concerns which would imply he is not needed to fill a gap in the squad. He is doing pretty well at Widnes with a try in the last game and a number of mentions from their fans. I think I am trying to convince myself that Price is looking to give him a game in the near future, but of course it could be something a bit more exotic such as Widnes having financial problems, a SL side wanting to borrow him for a spell, or our coaches wanting to 'tune up' his defence. We will have to wait and see.

As I see it, we can’t afford weight loss against Catalans next week. We aren’t blessed with prop depth. 2 injuries vs KR and we’re out of the CC without a replacement if Sita isn’t it.

Of course it could just be that it was a month long loan and the period is up. We may see him shipped out to another club in the coming weeks if no injury worries.

Loan him for fitness, keep him close in the event we need him. Seems sensible

Doro needs game time, and he's behind Mulhern, Butler and Akauola by the look of the squad for Cats in the cup. He'd be better out on loan unless there was an injury crisis in the forwards.

Going off Doro's tweet and the leniency of the punishment I’d say ‘foolish’. Sit out the ban, learn and move on.

Players should be made aware of the rules from the day that they sign professional contracts. I knew a couple of players / coaching staff for another Super League team as our sons played on the same junior football team. Somebody organised a football Last Man Standing competition to raise money for the club. One of these guys commented that taking part would put them in breach of the betting rules (I think that they just chipped in the money but didn’t take part). They should treat it the same way that they need to watch what medicines and supplements they take so as not to fall foul of the drugs testing.
