It’s truly is pathetic. Failing a high bomb being left to bounce, we were short of ideas, again.

Trouble is, we’re now 5th and still haven’t played Wigan or Saints. The two Catalan games aside, we’ve been bang average.

Still, battle of the super coaches to look forward to next week.

Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price:

"Our first-half performance was not a true reflection of how we have been going recently.

"We showed a lot of character in the second half to get back into the game and have an opportunity to win it at the back end.

There’s absolutely no way on Mother Earth that Paul Cullen or Shaun Wane would have lost that first game at home with fans after over a year.

I’ll call it now....defeat to Castleford will be Steve Price’s last SL game as a coach.
Castleford have a habit of costing coaches their jobs.

If these signings of Matautia, Holmes and Trueman are announced soon, and they have a dip in form, Mr Powell may find himself on gardening leave himself.

I wouldn’t want to going to Wheldon road after walking out, raiding the place and losing to your future employers in the cup!
