No I think Inglis would have a shot at an NRL contract if he played games over here and looked like he was trending in the right direction.

Is it too much to ask for you to post serious comments in one text colour and facetious ones is another? I always mull over any new Sally posts trying to figure out what’s hidden between the lines. That’s not easy on an iPhone when you’re in the middle of other tasks.

I guess Sally's post was tongue in cheek but the broncos have just signed karmichael Hunt after he has been playing for the queensland equivalent of Crossfields for the last few years. There are some clubs over there that will sign anyone at the moment.
There are more blow out scores this year in the NRL than I have ever seen. I used to look at scores from weekly NRL rounds and there was barely more than one score between the 2 teams in each of the fixtures for that round.
Penrith, Melbourne and to some extent the mighty Eels are sticking big scores on the likes of Brisbane, West's, St george and Canberra are struggling.
If he had got himself fit and was playing every week from the start of the season it wouldn't have surprised me if Brisbane came knocking on GI's door.

GI has been the biggest waste of cap space ever..... if we can send him on a plane back home, and bring George Williams in (with some clever accounting).... then WTF are we waiting for.

I didn't think he looked unfit as such just not match fit or sharp, he played well at full back and organised the defence well. I think he was clever in balancing his desire to get his hands on the ball and also making sure he can lady thebminiutes too in conserving energy. He will surely be a good influence in the changing room and hopefully be able to help the younger backs we have coming through. And I would love to see him out on the field again. His passing technique and accuracy were streets ahead of everyone else in super League it's almost Asif they practice passing over in Australia.

He is not on a lot of money cap wise, him leaving won't get us Williams in the side, and it was always worth the risk given the potential pay off, I wouldn't be overly surprised that if he gets a few games under his belt and us influential in the play offs he could fancy a full proper season going into it with a pre season. I'm sure that he is as unhappy with his injury and wants to get out there again .

Broncos, Tigers, Titans, Knights....I could see him at any of those clubs next year, if he plays 8 to 10 games at the end of this season and looks like he's trending in the right direction with another off season under his belt.

Yes there will be question marks but his record and standing in the game will persuade clubs to give him the benefit of the doubt.

No chance. If any player without his history, legacy and name had turned up in that condition he'd have been slaughtered. 2022 SL is hardly being played at breakneck pace and he still looked more shattered than a frenchman who'd won a season ticket to his local brothel.

He'd get humiliated in the NRL and it would be a sad, undignified end to a stellar career.
