That is, of course, true. Newcastle United players Allan Saint-Maximin & Jamaal Lascelles showed that last season in the football.

But the percentage of those people seems to be very low. I don't think I've read anywhere about any rugby league player having longer-term covid issues and plenty have had it.

Josh Jones was the main one I think, I also read Tetevano struggled with it at Leeds also.

Ah, fair enough.

I was only taking exception to the suggestion our squad would be 'ravaged' by it. Clearly the chances of several of our players being badly affected long-term is extremely low.

No. What’s the point in wasting time. Bullshat is bullshat however many times you look at it.
Personally I think bullshat might be better the first time you do it. Just to conflict things further.

Not a great time for us to play anyone, especially Wigan. We don’t know who, but it could be half the first team that are ravaged by C-19.
They’ll be losing a stone of weight and lungs working around 2/3 capacity.

To be fair to RD, anyone who has suffered from covid who has been ill badly through this would agree with him. A lot of people many months after having covid, their health has been not the same, although athletes should be fitter it has affected people very differently. To many on here jump on his back for some comments agreed, but this is not one of them. I for one would think playing Wigan after a two week lay off being people suffering covid, could massively affect the score, those who have been ill badly through would agree
