I make no bones about it, but I dislike Wigan more than any other team in SL - and by a long way
But
Is it just me or does anyone else have a 'less than enthusiastic' view of tomorrow's game?
Maybe it's due to other things going on - Olympics, sorting out my speeding fine, trying to get my foot sorted so that I can do a big bike ride on Sunday, or maybe the fact that this season seems to be more disjointed than last and the World Cup still seems to be on, or is it now off?

I hope I'm wrong but I really can't see there being big crowd there tomorrow - for obvious reasons.
I'm sure I'll shell out to watch it on Sky and hope it's a good match. A win would be good.

Sort of agree Fez. I normally have a bit of a buzz when we are due to play wigan but not so much this time.
I will be pleasantly surprised if there are more than 7000 fans on the ground. I just think people have got used to missing the games now and watching them on the box.
I hope it is a great game with lots of skill and intensity and a golden point win for us should bring back a bit of the buzz.

For sure I’m not going, wouldn’t go if free or paid. I have to shield for my father. I can’t afford any chance to give him C-19. He is reliant on me. He has conditions that will make infection very dangerous for him, even with his jabs.
I await the researcher to tell me I’m wrong again. Makes no difference. I’ll still not be going where there is no masks and no social distancing.

I presume this refers to me.

I know nothing of your father's condition so won't comment. I wouldn't sneer at anyone putting their family first.

Totally with you rubber. There is no game of rugby worth the risk or anything else really. Must protect family.

I'm with you..games being played on certain days games being called off league based on percentage wins very little skill or even off the cuff play..watch it on box with the sound turned down with a beer

I'm not after any 'congratulations' or 'don't be daft's' but for a bit of balance I'm on the 'team sheet' tonight at the HJ for the first time in ages and can't wait to get back to SW40.

Each to their own though, most definitely there's no right or wrong approach everyone's circumstances are different......NTW!!

There's many ways of being a Wire, enjoy the game in whichever way you feel to be appropriate.
