I was really worried from what saw on sky until he got up also the players reactions near him were not indicating anything particularly bad.

Hope he recovers well

Same. The commentators reacted like they do when they see a broken leg etc.

Thewlis posted on Twitter that "everything's all good", so seems likes he's fine.

For the Mamo try I'm not sure what going to the screen would have achieved. It looked like both players going for the ball and therefore no penalty (the incident occurred close to me but I only saw it once and from one angle). The only question would have been, should the ref have stopped the game as soon as he saw that the player was down with a head injury? The Wigan medical team weren't hampered in getting to the player so I don't see a problem.

I agree that the referees whistle, stopping someone running 80 yards away, is actually going to make no difference at all to the medical condition of the player who takes a knock to the head. Getting the medics on is the key.

Remember one of our Grand Final clashes with Wigan when they took out 3 of our players?

Great defensive effort, given the disruption to training and matches of the last few weeks, and losing Philbin during the game. Mamo's try was fair, Charnley tried to avoid Marshall and caught him with the inside of his leg at calf height. Lam's "kicked in the head" claim was an odd version of the truth, as no feet were involved. Wigan had enough ball in our 25 to win two or three games due to our terrible completion rate, and I wonder how much juice it takes out of the tank for Sunday at Headingley.

Marshall moved his arm to his face as soon as he realised he dropped the ball, hicks knew he was trying it on and ignored him. Lam looks like he’s lost £500,000 in Vegas and hoping his next hand wins

Well, re philbin going off, I was expecting sita to revert to the pack, and wrench to hut thr 3/4s.

Instead we ran off 15 players and had an unused sub again

Yes, Price doesn't take many chances does he. I wonder if he will insist on wearing a crash helmet on the plane back to Oz.

He seems like a very tough cookie.
