Better they get a run out if they're 2nd or 3rd choice here. It'll give Neil Kelly a chance to see what they can do at this level without blooding them as well.

Its about competition for places and fighting for your place.

If Ruddy is Adam Rudd then at best he is a squad player and when he gets his chance its up to him to make a place his own.

I understand that if you are not getting any game time (like Dean Hatton) then you want to be playing and short term loan times are best for all concerned (both clubs and the player). Hasn't Adam Rudd been injured? If so and is now fit its up to him to fight for a place in the reserves or request to be released. I would not like to lose him from our squad as in general he does a decent job but at the moment others are higher up in the pecking order.
