Rowley upto the job?

I'm not so sure.

Will someone explain what is the difference between Head Coach and director of Rugby ?

I am asking a serious question btw.

Interesting development this....it can be read in many ways.
no quote from Allan R, but from At instead. is NK there to ensure the rugby side of things works properly? can PR lead the coaching and move the team forward? does PR have control of the dressing room?

maybe more clearly defined roles between NK and PR means that the coaching and rugby admin are more effective.

Not sure whether this is the right decision or not by the club but only time will tell I suppose. I don't want to drag up the 'politics' from the other thread about people not liking Rowley but will this have an effect on the team and players joining us? However, a positive which I think comes from this is when he was coach last year we played some good attractive rugby under him and lets hope he can get them playing this again.

Will Neil still be involved in the coaching?

one has a track suit and a whistle, the other goes to australia and talks to players.

Well this will please some and irk others, thought Paul did a good job while caretaker before so lets see what happens maybe he will pick different players to NK and play them in other position maybe not time will tell.

is this a genuine role, or the clubs way of saving face, without a sacking??

Anything that gets us from the one man rugby for now will do and maybe Rowley will be the one who can dot it

Bad move, Rowley has little to no experience of being a first team coach (apart from a brief spell) and Kelly who has always been a coach of some sort and has a wealth of experience gets moved upstairs.


The Rowleys dominate your club and the sooner you part comany with both of them the sooner your club moves forward. Replace Rowley senior with a young energetic bright person with great ideas (me) and get rid of Rowley junior and replace him with someone like Purtill or whatever his name is at Huddersfield.
