| Effort was there for all to see and that is ALL i ask But still some questions
1 Why kick on the 3rd tackle (Widnes scored off it)
2 Watsons Kick After Madens Break ? (2Nd Tackle when on the ascendancy)
3 Both Durbin & Donlan @ Stand off ? , EVERYTHING still going to watto, surely with 2 halves its needs to go 2 both, Durbin on for 25mins and touched ball half a dozen times
4 Hobbo, Nuff Said
5 Tactical Kicking Really Poor and sometimes far too early
Just Minor things that need tweaking, i know im a big Durbin Fan but this lad needs more of the ball, no point being on and in the background. Hobbo needs NOT be on at ANY time

| You could pick, disect and comment on every play in every match and highlight the "poor points".
This is what I would hope the coaching staff would do and put measures in place to improve in those areas.
Balance between good and bad is the key. There will always be bad plays in a match and wrong options taken but its how many and against the good options and plays which is the difference between winning and losing.
In balance last night the good far outweighed the bad.
Last nights 17 did the business and the tactics and plays must have been okay to have come away with a victory. Okay, I know Widnes are an ordinary side but let the coaches look at the negatives and let us armchair critics try to concentrate more on the good points for a change - we have not had much to applaud this season

| Yes there are still faults, but hey - every team has them. Last night was undeniably an improvement and we did actually try things - look at Alstead's second try, for instance. Of course, Watson doesn't always get it right, but at least he is trying to vary it - and as for his kicking, variable as it was, we did score two tries from his kicks.

we won and we won well, at times played some awesome rugby
why not just take that and be happy instead of looking for negatives?

Watson more than most though - he's the only half back we've got, at the moment!

Totally agree with you.
He ran our side yesterday and maybe his doubters will soon start to realise that it's not h is fault all the time.

| Watson had a good game and practically ALL of his kicks, even when they went directly to an opposition player, made us good ground. That was because the players moved up quickly and in the main tackled well.
Anyone who thinks he,s poor needs help, like my mate for example. I keep reminding him what happened to our lads v Barrow after Watson went off.
I keep telling him and others, without him we are like a rudderless ship. Madden played well last night and C Hill what an amazing player this lad is.
