In a bid to improve the quality of the national side. The RFU in england are to reduce the number of overseas players and wait for it, are seriously thinking of scraping promotion and relegation. Where have I heard this before?

Don't panic. The RFU always copy rugby league's best ideas. It's nailed on they wont copy licensing

Judging by the 'yawnathon' against Ireland they need to do something urgently to improve the quality. How did I watch all of it?

Don't know how you did that!! I watched the first half and couldn't stomach any more, and I don't really mind watching the odd game of Union. In fairness the pundits also picked up on it (The Kickathon), so I think it was probably a bit worse than normal.

They had a feature on Channel 4 news, about the problem of the best English players being snapped up by French clubs. (the problem being that the clubs might not release them for international training sessions)

I can't believe that the French can be interested in that many English players, surely?!
