Well attended by the general public unfortunately none of the present squad, officials or directors attended neither did any of the 'special guests', well hosted by Leigh East, though Keith aint as good looking as Michael Parkinson (nor Fred )
Will try and put a version on youtube later in the week.

Just would like to say on behalf of all the Sale family thank you to leigh east especially Keith for a fantastic day Tommy loved every minute as did we. Would also like to thank Leigh Centurions for there fantastic hospitality.

All my grandad kept saying to me all day is I don't know what I have done to deserve all this bless him

Yes, thanks to everyone who turned out and thanks to everyone at Leigh Centurions and Leigh East for their hospitality. It was a really good day and went very well. I'm really pleased with how the book has turned out. Tommy has been a pleasure to work with throughout the production of the book and I hope he continues to receive plenty of recognition for a lifetime's incredible service. Please pass on word about the book.

In all seriousness it was good to see Mr Sales face and the reception he got when he walked in and everyone stood up and applauded, but like the pro I am i was too far from my camera to film it

Like I said great for Leigh East to put this on for Tommy (and thanks for the butties and tea Keith).
