A more reasonable start this time - i.e. not playing the potential top five, in the first five weeks! How come there are two games over Easter? I thought that was a strict no-no, from 2020 onwards?
Just looked at the RFL explanation of fixtures:-
"The majority of the second round of the Easter programme in the Betfred Championship has been put back from the traditional Easter Monday date, at the request of the clubs, to allow players more time to recover from the Good Friday programme"Everyone plays on the Tuesday/Wednesday after Easter, apart from Whitehaven v Leigh and Bradford v Widnes, who play on Easter Monday. Why do those four clubs not need to recover after the Friday, like everyone else?
