CL, it was a scrappy first half, Dews won’t be pushovers this season, but once we decided to put the ball out wide we won easy.Im happy with this game first up, we will improve.

I’ll take a scrappy first half in the first game of the season, on a January Friday night in Dewsbuy, with a late change to the halfback pairing. The second half was a 24-0 display against a home team who were sensing an upset.

I've watched the full game on LCTV VL. That second half impressed me with the way we handled our discipline, and the way we played with good defense. The ref was very weak and was very poor. Please no more of this kind of officiating please.
