Bienek only came on at about 55 mins, did 10 mins, went off and did last 5. Makes good yards but if that’s the best engine he’s got he’s going to struggle at anywhere near the top level

I thought the ref dealt with it correctly, I do not have Laroyer marked as a dirty player , I certainly did not see any malice in it. Shoulder barge, mistimed at worse, correct call.

I had a brief chat with Kevin in the legends bar after the match , told him it was a shoulder

Is leading with the shoulder not banned - and to mis-time it to the head seems like a very poor technique for someone who has been playing at the top level for some while - looked calculated and deliberate to me

If the shoulder makes direct contact to the head then it's a sending off. Personally watching live I didn't think there was any contact with the head ( I may be wrong ) and I'm with Harold the ref made the correct call with yellow for mine, although he didn't get many decisions correct throughout the game.

Not sure why the Leigh players lost their heads so much in the first half, the all in after an offside was a sure sign that we needed half time. Not sure what Higson did, because it was off the ball, but thought the Sammut one was 50/50 red card, swayed by the reaction. But can't really argue too much about it.

Reynolds was mom for me, and while I thought Ioane did well, the defining spell of the game was at the start of the second half when Thompson and Gerrard helped to march us upfield for successive penalties and then Gerrard made the break for the first try of the second half, which was the clincher.

Fax had it theirs for the taking at half time, and was a v poor second half showing from them. They only got in our half off the back of handling errors.

I would hope AJs sin bin is enough and not warranting any further punishment, same with Larroyer, they were just mistimed tackles.
