Lost 34-12 after being down 16-0 after 20 mins. Spirited performance, but Jamie Ellis off with leg injury. Can’t help feeling we should have put the club first and pull out of this friendly.

Opportunity too leave Ellis off the field. Not sure why he had to return. The game was lost and he’d had his hit out last week.

Ellis won’t be starting halve, clubs exploit his defence out wide. Mellor looks brilliant and hopefully Wallace builds on some good signs from his first hit out. Ellis as bench 9 maybe

Agree, not sure what pecking order Mo is on about but there is nobody in that squad that can outclass Ellis’s foot.
