We should have signed Chris Hill for next season and made him Captain. But he has already been announced as having signed for Huddersfield (whilst still being involved in play-offs)

knockonknockon, I don’t understand your response to my suggestion that Leigh should have signed Hilly. He is 33 yrs old, we could afford him, he has strong allegiance with the club, and he came through the ranks at Leigh. Also it would have saved him a drive across the Pennines 4 or 5 times week.

He is Wires only prop imo, letting him go was a huge mistake. If we had been given the nod as to staying up I believe he would be with us - he wants a WC spot next season and wont get that outside SL

Wigan fans are claiming that Wane is the D.O.R at the Pie Dome next year !

Which has been the claim for a while, but the relative said Leigh offered a huge contract to establish them in SL that Wigan could not match - I assume that will be off the table if we are relegated

And thats one of the reasons we will go nowhere with DB's throw cash at the problem attitude. If he had accepted that alleged massive offer he would be coming for the money, I'd suggest an unknown Aussie for the next coach, its worked quite successfully before wouldn't you agree?
