For any rugby league fans looking for a nice Christmas present for under £10, the novel "Three Good Years" is highly recommended (by me!). It is set between 2006 and 2008 in the fictional town of Ashurst which is set south of Leigh and the East Lancs Road. with a background of Work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League.
