A very strong squad with additions of Inu and Bell. Should be strong enough to get the job done but we will need to set a solid first 20-30 mins and build from there.
Interesting stats shown for St Helens on their last televised game was how they use the first 20 mins to set a solid, error free, simple game plan, and wear teams down for a more expansive second 20. They then consistently score a significant number of their points in that second 20 mins of the first half. Second half they then control the game from the front. The key to it is discipline and low error count in the first 20, to get good minutes with ball in hand and make the opposition work hard for every meter when they have the ball. A strong interchange bench is also key, and we should have that with this squad.
