In two separate interviews Lam has said we are interested. This is all very different to his very firm denial to the repeated rumour earlier in the year about his son's supposed move to Leigh. Might it suggest that we either already have or are making an approach to sign Ferguson.
It seems unlike Lam and out of character for him to offer a positive view on a potential signing on what would otherwise be pure press speculation.
Again , could be just wishful thinking , Lammy said recently how he was interested in signing Anthony Gelling , but it didn’t happen as Gelling stayed in NZ , hopefully we will make a couple of signings , I’d love another big prop.
