'Sid' was one player I was hoping would be staying. Sadly he has gone to Salford. I can only assume Leigh wouldn't offer a 2 year contract.

Thanks, Sid, for sticking with us through the Championship and helping us into SL. You gave 100% every game. A tough tackler. An enforcer that every team needs. Never took a backward step.

Adam put a shift in and I wish him well, at almost 35 it would have been hard to knock back a 2 year deal, and he has played a lot for Salford and Rowley in the past.

Nice to see you back, Mo. Bongser's positive thoughts on Sid are well documented on other threads so will not be iterated here.

Things are a bit quiet on this forum so, as you are obviously more in the know, N, than we lowlies please throw us all a little bait on which to feed frenzy - even be it your usual wind-up merchant stuff!

Adam played long, hard minutes and always gave everything he had. One of my first picks on the sheet and sad to see him go, but I trust the people making the decisions right now.
