I see that Total Rugby League are reporting today that we are in for Cas forward Brad Martin - anyone here have views on the player?

Saw one post on X suggesting we were trying and failing to sign him, but not from anybody with any credibility.
Reports of Souths wanting Amone are far more concerning

Souths seem to want to buy anyone currently.

It is standard rumour time and anyone off contract after this season is always going to be of interest.

I wouldn't begrudge Tom a move to NRL in the slightest, he's certainly the best prop in SL and better off in Oz than us having to face a pack lead by him.

Between agents and client journalism it is always the silly time of the year

Lammy has indicated in recent interviews that most of the out of contract players are in the process of re-signing and announcements to this effect are pending.

It will be interesting to see who, if anyone, will be leaving.

I sense from the club that there is no particular panic. There is no real talk or substantial speculation that we about to lose key players. The vibe from the club is good and calm and I for one feel pretty chilled about it all. In previous eras I would have panicking that we were about to have all our decent players poached - usually to those ne'er-do-wells Salford and Warrington - but, fingers crossed, not this time.
