any1 remember this guy from our super league team? just been watching a short video on youtube were he scored his hat trick against wakefield... thought he was quite a decent player

He makes a far better rugby union halfback due to him not being the best defensively. He was on the coaching staff at Sedgley Park this season.

Terrific player when he first burst onto the scene. remember him cutting us to shreds, for Lancashire Lynx, at Preston.

However, I never forgave him for requesting a release part way through his SL contract, because he had a better offer from RU. Great for him, but not the rest of us - there was no early release for us, that season!

Was even better on his debut for Wigan when he scored a hat trick against Cas.

I'm pretty sure he played at stand off as Matty Jhons was injured In SL i always thought it was strange playing Jones at Centre who was a natural stand off and Kent who was a natural Centre at stand off

To be fair to him and Sedgley Park more than half that division are full time, don't ask me how on the crowds generated, from memory there are only 5 sides who consistently got more than 2000!

When Sedg have only got a fraction of the cash, no wonder they ended up near the bottom. Normally the bottom 2/3 go down but the RFU decided a rugby league style shifting of the divisions and Park have suffered.

I bet they are glad of the rent paid to them by both Swinton and Oldham for use of the ground. Salford were also based there for a good spell too.
