A mate of mine up Leigh this afternoon told me that the sports village are refusing to let the rugby club hold pre match entertainment for the next two games, coz of the work that's been done on the pitch

What harm can a few kids n dancers do? Providing there not at the wheels of any jcbs

He reckons the club's not happy at all as alot of things had been put inn place that now have to be cancelled.

Unfortunately I think the state of the pitch is the least of our worries

I would of thought that the grass would grow with no problems at all given all the 5h1te that's been put on it this season.

One of the big causes of damage to the Old Trafford pitch or any pitch is the warm up prior to kick off when both teams plus their reserves plus trainers and coaching staff are all on the pitch at the same time.
