I have a feeling we will see Kurt Baptiste back in his legendary No 14 jersey and completing his first game against Batley Bulldogs (again).

Not too fussed on either really, I think Forsyth & Thornley are the best pound for pound centres in the league.

Id definitely look at Gregg Worthington, Matty Dawson-Jones and James Clare again.

Get your point on Sau, but to counter that, we need more than two centres on the books.

Higson would get into our best 13 if he were to join this season (unless Costello was available from Saints)

Is higson fit because thought he was injured and hes a very good finisher 5/10 yards out but doesnt beat many men from say 30/40 yards out same as dawson and dont think both are fast for wingers but we definitely do need wingers

I agree that Thornily and Forsythe are a great centre pairing at this lev. I have always rated Greg Worthington and Clare will score plenty of tries, especially at Championship level and both bring great attributes.

May be I am being harsh here but I do think Dawson is very overated if I am honest. He was okay ish outside a quality centre in Willie Tonga, but defensively he is terrible, and gets caught out positionally all to often. I have never seen him score a try outside 10 yards either.

Having said that, he stuck with us to the end in difficult circumstances last season, finishing it strongly as a useful make shift centre.

I would love to see Adam Higson back in a Leigh shirt. He will be very hungry to play regular rugby and can finish as well as the best of them. Great young man as well !
