it should go ahead and we should not be bowing to the aussies they are a disgrace putting domestic rugby before a world cup

If the Aussies and New Zealand don't. want to take part do a Combined Nation's, that's 1 spot taken then there is only 1 spot to fill instead of 2

A Barbarians type side for spot 2 not ideal and just a thought

Not ideal,talk of interest from the USA now. Anything that commits to the profile of the game can only be good for the game. It is what it is.

Replace them and crack on. Important for marketing the game in UK. Was great comp last time round their loss.

Would like for it to happen not just cos we have tickets.

The Brisbane coach says it was the players who decided not to come which is different to whats been published.Maybe hes got it wrong, not much right with Broncos this year.However, if no nrl players are available, then it would affect most teams, including our own.

Apparently, might be another meeting down under Monday..

I feel is should be cancelled if the big two are not competing, it would be a WC you wouldn't want to win

Very true EVO, lets face it nobody credits Daley Thompson with winning 2 Olympic Golds due to USA boycotting one and Russia the other.

We should still have the RLWC, if we don't, it will give Australia even a bigger ego about their standings in world RL.

Carry on regardless.
Players and teams have been preparing in equally or even more difficult situations as Aus and NZ, and are willing to travel now. Yes the tournament will be different without them but every team is important and the rugby league world and the tournament needs to acknowledge and show that.
No one team should get to dictate what the world of rugby does and doesn’t do.
