Fev. v Leigh preview : Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:04 pm
I know it’s early, but as the first live match on Premier Sports has seen Fev. have an impressive 30-12 win over York, I thought I’d make a new topic previewing the big match next Monday. All the pundits on the programme were picking Fev. as favourites for promotion. Brian McDermott was his usual charming self. Craig Hall was pure class. If only he was still playing for us!! Although Bussey was man of the match, I thought it should have gone to Jordan Thompson who played heroically for the home side. If only we could have held on to him this season!!
Having said all that, I thought we were clinical against Whitehaven. MacDonald is a monster and I was impressed by the forwards. So I’m quite confident we can turn them over next week. The only thing I’m worried about is the size of our squad. Fev. still have Chisholm and Leilua to start a match this season and have more bodies in than us. What do other fans think?

CL , I think next week will be a great game , I’m not sure about Chisholm and Leilua if they both play , could be to our advantage , mr personality McDermott has already said Kopzjack and Sene will be missing , I’m never convinced about Hall , I think we can beat Fev , but our defence will have to improve .
Haven scored their try against us with 10 men on the pitch , yeah we looked good in attack , our pack is a monster , and I love Nene ,and Aekins , hopefully get Wardle and Hitchcox back , it’s early days yet , even if we lose .
I’m going for a Leigh win though .

How many penalties did he concede? That’s something he needs to work on. Fortunately that’s not Leigh’s problem.
