I have responded and I urge all other Leythers to make your voice heard.

The future of our sport is being decided now, and if you don't have your say then it's difficult to complain with validity if you don't like the direction they choose.

They may ignore the survey, but if they've any sense they will want the majority of fans on board and will consider their views carefully.

Totally agree with Mick. 2 Divisions of 10 would be bad news for Leigh in the long run, with it becoming even harder to stay in the top flight, and the 2nd Tier would be more competitive and harder to get out of.

You should be aspiring to play and compete in the 1st tier, and stay there.

3 attempts to stay in Super League suggest otherwise. Leigh have been somewhere between 11th and 15th best teams in Europe for a long time, so a leap to 9th and upwards sounds like a tall order.

Nevertheless, you are either good enough, or you ain't. Like i said, you should be aspiring to compete to get in the 1st tier, and stay there.

This twelve year set up with IMG might see RL with even less money.

Another question: which team do you support in those divisions (paraphrase).

Bongser answered “Leigh” and attempted to pass on to the next Q. Nope, as he’d declared an interest in SL too, he had to pick a team that he supported in that league. There was no option for “Whoever is playing Wigan”. IMG seem to think that an interest in sport in a certain division, demands that you support a club. Thought of picking St Helens as they are the largest thorn in the pahs’ side, but realised that their analytics might dismiss a glory hunter as then he would have selected two table-toppers. Checked Warrington to pass on.

A: Yes. With the greatest of respect, if IMG truly wish to canvass Rugby League fans' opinions they should do so in the pubs near the grounds before and after matches, instead of doing prepped surveys that will (weighted) find exactly what they want to find. Get in the stands and on the terraces too.
