| Very sad news, one of the best fullbacks i have ever seen. Would tackle anything, safe as houses under the high ball. A very brave fullback who got quite a lot of injuries by putting his body on the line week after week. R.I.P. Mick  |

Have just been speaking to AJM and he's asked me to put his on here:
"Mick Hogan was one of the nicest lads I ever met and he was a world class player who never got the recognition he deserved. He was a great team player, someone we could all rely on and he was a big part of one of the best teams Leigh have ever had. He will be sadly missed - RIP Mick."
