I had a long chat with Ian Leneghan that day and I posted on here how positive he was about the deal, he was very enthusiastic. He went into detail about what was going to happen - so what went wrong?

The players at Wigan were aksed if they wanted to join Leigh on loan to which they replied no.

As I posted earlier in the thread, to my knowledge only 2 players have left Wigan on loan this season. Lee Mossop was originally offered to Leigh, but we turned it down so he went to Barrow instead, while Darrell Goulding justifiably opted to join a Super League club on loan (Salford) instead of dropping down a division.

Both Karl Pryce and Mossop turned Leigh down and instead either stayed or joined other clubs. Leigh enquire and then Wigan ask them do they want to go on loan to Leigh. Ben Davies is another who has rejected a move to Leigh.

That would be the same Karl Pryce who has appeared in Wigan's first team since being "offered" to Leigh, would it?

Haggerty will never ever get a sniff of Saints first team again though, Haggerty is also a bang average player who even at this level doesnt stand out. Mossop will be a Wigan player for many more years to come as will Davies.
