I think Armistead will be wasted in the front row tbh. He has good hands and can take the ball up well at the same time. Leave him at second row with Jimmy and play Smith at loose.

As for prop, surely Cookson can't be as bad as Hobson has been over the past few weeks so maybe it's time to give him a chance.

Cooky, Haggy and Rourke all played in last night reserves 'outing' against Oldham (all played well too inc Ridyard and Sam Reay)

in recent years, don't we we win more games at Batley, than at home ?
just checked, maybe not, but only lost 1 game at Batley in the last 5 years.

Tend to be alarmingly close, though
