Totally agree with you.
He ran our side yesterday and maybe his doubters will soon start to realise that it's not h is fault all the time.

| Watson had a good game and practically ALL of his kicks, even when they went directly to an opposition player, made us good ground. That was because the players moved up quickly and in the main tackled well.
Anyone who thinks he,s poor needs help, like my mate for example. I keep reminding him what happened to our lads v Barrow after Watson went off.
I keep telling him and others, without him we are like a rudderless ship. Madden played well last night and C Hill what an amazing player this lad is.

| folk who said his kicking last night was awfull really need to see the game again, its not always about finding touch its about 'the chase' to the ball and last night we had it off to an art form, Watto pressurised Wildbore knowing he never passes, and the young kid Flynn is going through the nightmares recently (good as he has been teams are getting smart to him)so he was also pepperd, yes he made a couple of bad decisions but like has been said he was the instrument of everything and did it very well indeed.

| Quote ShortMatKing="ShortMatKing"Effort was there for all to see and that is ALL i ask But still some questions
1 Why kick on the 3rd tackle (Widnes scored off it)
2 Watsons Kick After Madens Break ? (2Nd Tackle when on the ascendancy)
3 Both Durbin & Donlan @ Stand off ? , EVERYTHING still going to watto, surely with 2 halves its needs to go 2 both, Durbin on for 25mins and touched ball half a dozen times
4 Hobbo, Nuff Said
5 Tactical Kicking Really Poor and sometimes far too early
Just Minor things that need tweaking, i know im a big Durbin Fan but this lad needs more of the ball, no point being on and in the background. Hobbo needs NOT be on at ANY time'"
Some people are never satisfied. WE WON FFS! Get a life and stop moaning!

| Apart from the two early tries we let in I thought we performed really well.
Rowley has lit a fire under the players and brought back some "Leyther" spirit into the dressing room.
Other than Halifax this competition is wide open so if we can start playing like this regularly it could make for an interesting second half of the season.

| if watto could kick the ball and turn there defence around and give us extra yards instead as straight to them we would be alot better and further up also it puts alot less pressure on our chasers and fitness will come into it, also stop the hospital passes it doesn't help us in any way so many times we lose the ball cause of them or even injuries, other than that im happy with watto good team leader

I would think that's what he's trying to do. But he really is under all sorts of pressure, as the opposition know it's going to him, for the kick, and not to anybody else.
