Fax fans were bragging about another 4 or 5 signing to come, they even annouced it at HT that they had more exciting signings to be annouced shortly. As I said to one of their fans, why are they wasting their money as its Gateshaed or Toulouse who wil get the next franchise, unless the RFL see sense before then and look at the crowds dropping and put in teams who can have a decent following.


Also I think the attendance yesterday was dire and al the crowds Fax have been getting is very poor, considering the good rugby they have been playing, I think our friends at RED HALL are the cause of this with the Frachises.

I think that the signings referred to are re-signings of current players and new signings for next season as the club have already stated that they are already thinking about next year.

As far as SL goes, I agree with you that they are probably looking at Toulouse etc. but, in my view, the only possible way for Fax (or any other heartland team ) to get in is by not only ticking a box but to tick as many as possible to the point where the RFL would look totally stupid ignoring us. It may still not work but, hey, if we don't try we might just as well fold up and pack it in all together.

Also, if Celtic's and Quins's crowds get much worse they may just have to think twice before they put any more expansion clubs in.

Yes the announcement was about next years players and you may be right Tolouse and Gateshead may get the nod but at the end of the day any club would not just want to stand still would they?Surely they would still want to be the best in this division none the less I have noticed your own club announceing various signings of late albeit they don`t always come off and they are for this year not next.You should have had your team well in place by now .

Why waste our money? If we didnt we might end up like Leigh and pay peanuts and get monkeys like Hobson. Maybe if you spent your money more wisely you might be more competitive.

Unless Gatehead and Tolouse collapse in this currently climax they are all but guaranteed there place in SL because they arent from Yorkshire and Lancashire and no doubt it will be a red and a white county team that will come down so i can see why people arent interested in going to games and paying there money, the RFL have balls'ed up big time and im afraid many more teams will end up like Donny. The fans want to see R&P thats why we go......

More fans = more money = better players = stronger clubs = stronger leagues

mAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE DONE A fAX AND PASSED TO CAP AROUND ONLY TO FIND MEGABUCKS FROM SOMEWHERE
