There are alot of ex fans that feel this way.

I have watched Leigh home and away for many years and will continue to do so. But jeepers it's pretty poor Rugby to watch.

Warrington was pretty poor until they got a new coach and now they look much better. Being a good player doesn't automatically make a good coach.

I wont stop going to the home games, as thats helping the club, I support, however whether or not I can face a long trek to Haven to see another defeat amd then the following Friday to Fax to see a even bigger pasting is another matter.

And arent we finding this out to be true

I have been watching Leigh since 1949 and obviously have seen good times and bad times, but I love Rugby League and watching Rugby League can somebody tell me if I stop watching Leigh who then can I watch, the answer is of course no-one, were having some bad times but do not despair we will have good times again keep the faith and all will be well again.

Leyther mat..who said anything about applauding the team.some of the abuse screamed at them yesterday was a disgrace,I agree that we are in more s"it than a faggots finger ,but this is OUR team.

Depends what you define as 'abuse' - personally, I'll hold my hands up and shouted that they were a set of useless barstewards after Smith did his John Wilshere turnstile impression in the first half, and booed them off at the end.

Didn't hear anything particularly bad, though mentally, if not physically. speaking I was halfway down Atherleigh Way by the time the players (not a team by any stretch at the minute) thought they'd try and get some applause from the North Stand.

It is our side though, you're right, and I'll be going to Whitehaven with blind optimism that will undoubtedly fade quickly within 5 minutes of kick off, but I'll still be going up there in the hope of someone managing a win (we did it with a poor side in 2007, so you never know).

But we don't get that watching leigh at the moment

Yet again people pay their money and can do what they like. Maybe was a disgrace but the fans were very upset and was maybe heat of the moment? I myself did shout abuse as they seem to be taking the P!ss out off the fans at the moment

IMO as a fan you pay your money to be entertained, you dont get the option of a refund if it is crap so what else are you meant to do????? Clap them off if they are good, average or poor, no you dont beacause the players will keep doing what they do knowing no difference but by booing or tell them they are crap it might hopefully strike a nerve but unfortunately excluding a couple of them the rest of this team arent bothered as long as they get there pay at the end of the month.

I have watched Saints games where they have been booed for losing because they are expected to win the problem at Leigh is people are beginning to realise [some sooner than others that Leigh are in grave danger for the drop and added Joey Williams to the team might not be enough.

It wont be enough! he will need runners to set a play and we never seem to have any.

Does any of the people who booed and shouted insults to the players seriously think that the players did not already know how bad things have become

Put yourself in their shoes just for a minute , you have just been humiliated on the pitch for the second time in a week , what is going to make you more determined to turn things round

Abuse or applause ?

I applauded because no matter what anybody on here says they did not lack effort , you cannot play the game without effort , you will get hurt

Skill , organisation and execution was lacking , but all the abuse in the world will not encourage any sportsman to change that

I dont support this player or that , I support ' the shirt ' and any and all that wear it
