If Salford are playing Saints at LSV in a Friday/Saturday, and Leigh are playing Batley on Sunday, how many spectators may think I'll go and watch a SuperLeague game this week and give Sunday a miss. This will only reduce Leigh attendance even more than it is now.

Depends how much it is to get in. I paid £17 to go to the Willows on Friday, and there just wasn't the intensity of previous SDL games I've been to - we need to make ourselves the 'moral' choice, if anything.

What on earth can WE do about it?
The LSV is run by Wigan Council and the management has to get the best possible return for their money so if they say Salford play there then thats what happens, end of...

Anyone who thinks otherwise is sadly deluded. What I find interesting is that anyone would consider a Salford side playing at Leigh would be a better franchise option than a Salford side playing at a sufficient ground 'In Salford', where the only real drawback is that it isn't built from breezeblocks.
