I remember IM at a LISA meeting stating that our defence was so good in the middle that the opposition would have to run round us - well they did on many occasions
its up to the coach to sort the style of play so dont blame the players for that . morty is suffering with the style of play millward wants , the dual contract system is flawed , how can a player be guaranteed a spot , it goes against all coaching methods. meekin and ainscough are suffering because of it . if you look at the salary cap, who are the people taking the most of it , i would say robbie , donlon, rickey and if coaches are included then ian and paul , ian had the chance to get shut of the players he didnt want . in defence of ian he needs about two years and £60k to get it right but something tells me he wont be here to fullfil that . the grand final is a long way off and putting a weak side against batley away could come back and haunt him for a second time . some people said ian was in the stand at batley away and on the bench for the home game , should have played a stronger side at batley and gained the high ground. i think ian needs three more players for a chance to get leigh where we belong in SL. A LOT OF THE STRUCTURES ARE NEARLY IN PLACE , ITS MONEY THATS THE PROBLEM
