1. Seems a bit of a strange statement to make before any judgement has been made, almost a plead of guilt and asking for a long ban.

2. You can be as sure as hell that if they weren't provoked before, they sure as heck will now - starting Saturday.

I've trawled through Fleming's SIX citings in that game, (surely some kind of record?) and the one involving Ridyard, was deemed to be use of the forearm to Ridyard's chest. In the interview Ridyard reckons it was an elbow, when he'd been told to go and defend in the middle. He said he isn't going back in that position in a hurry!

My bet is either Hock or Acton must have elbowed Ridyard!

Looks to me as if that statement was prepared 'for' them & not 'by' them, foisted upon them by DB no doubt in the hope of leniency by the panel.

Strange & unlikely IMO to work out very well.

As retaliators rather than initial aggressors it is to be hoped that the Swinton player/players punishments are more severe than those of Ant & Dec .....

Nobody got hurt, everybody shook hands at the end and no harm done. Seems ridiculous to be throwing 6-10 match bans around for a few props trading blows in a heated game of rugby.

I mean Gareth & Jamie.

The worst Swinton one is a Grade c I think and that was for entering the field of play without permission. I think Fleming the Bulls loanee has 3 grade B charges. Anyone think he was on a secret mission?

think we need to send our players to football matches to learn how to dive.What are you supposed to do if someone is knocking hell out of you
