Well thanks for joining lads. Bongser's been so busy today that he didn't even get his own pred in on time and therefore stays on zero where he becomes uncomfortable bedfellow to Cokey (ya well, lad?). Meanwhile we have, at present four joint RUNAWAY leaders on two points apiece.

C'mon Leythers. Anyone can see how many points are up for grabs each week. A missed match or even couple of full rounds are neither here nor there.

Bongser will slap his on the table tomorrow morning (bed calls him early this eventide). Make a thud yourselves.

So, the first week's Pred League was blighted by both a postponement and a nasty result. Bongser decided that the "All Six" results bonuses should be allowed to stand for "All Five". It's great being a ref (unless you're in McNally's way).

Nobody of the disappointingly low initial forum turnout predicted the LSV victor, so there were no bonus points to be had there. However we have a clear frontrunner (maybe merely Brasher to your Bannister - so many points on offer the lead is negligible).

One Charles Caroli (sic) correctly predicted the winners of the other four matches (4 x 2 points = and, what's more got Fev's winning margin bob on for a further 3 points. This week's winner as always gets a further 25 points.

Charlie apparently does know!

So to the standings after Week One:

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnn ONE -Charlie Caroli: 37
Iiiiiiiinnn (joint) TWO- Vancouver Leyther & Zulu: 9
Iiiiiiiinnn (joint) FOUR - Atomic, Cokey & Bongser: 7

With a gnat's nudger more notice this week, the next round's questions will be posted tomorrow.

No entrant correctly guessed the bonus question (answer: 5), naming the players doesn't count if the primary bonus isn't correct. Sorry, Zulu, will try to be clearer in future.
