So basically you are saying the squad is built for next season? So everyone away on holiday is being retained for 2020.
Why sit under the radar again? Why not make the most media impact now? Not be many reading in the closed season!
That's what we as a club, seem to do, isn't it? I agree with you - I would have thought that a steady flow of information about next season's squad, would have maintained/generated interest amongst fans/sponsors etc. In the past, I have bought tickets from the likes of Sheffield, Wigan, Hull KR, and Widnes, on-line from those club, when we play there (I'm not making a special trip to Leigh, just to buy tickets from our club) Those clubs are emailing me with news about next season.
To an extent, the club was 'lucky' at the start of last season, in that they got the 'sympathy' vote from fans, who turned up in larger than expected numbers. This time around, we haven't got that threat of extinction, (thank goodness') to galvanise fans. We (the club) need to work on that.

We got amazingly good home support this last system. I think we will need to make some pretty impressive signings to sustain it. Everyone knows that we currently don't have a squad that could make SL.

Out of all clubs, the most informative I've found email wise is Toronto. Why our club has to go down the line of non disclosure just baffles me. Who is marketing 2020?

Just had an informative email from 'Fax! Admittedly, I also had one from Leigh, trying to sell tickets for the awards evening - but that was rather late, as the event is this week!

Very poor Alan. I get the budgeting side of things, but in this day and age with digital/social media we are living in the past as a club.
Next up will be season tickets with a signing. Owd school stuff.

Why is getting immediate SL promotion so important? Rather see local lads playing good rugby for the shirt in the Championship than be a yo-yo team full of overpaid mercs being stuffed weekly in the SL.

A few years ago, we had a communications group, promoting the club through TV, radio, programme, social media, etc. Granted, there were a few of us, and the numbers aren't there for that now, but we (and other clubs, to be fair) don't seem to see any benefit in communicating with the support base. As you say, we will probably start to get news, when the s/t's go on sale!

If Mr Beaumont is commited to next season, then just whack one in now to show the faithful. If not, lets at least get some news on who is staying. You want a sell a season ticket, marketing starts now. Not when it fits in with everyones arrangements.
