Excited! Hope we can get the right mix of retained and new recruits. Think the basic squad is solid just need to retain the right players and add SL quality.

Zak Hardaker and Ricky Leutele both announced as new signings - apparently!

Both will do nicely.

Leopards re-branding a bit naff though

I hope Hardaker goes the way of Hock (and Ryan Bailey), talented players with problems who I didn't much care for but certainly put on a good enough display while in the shirt.

I see that we have announced the signing of another 8 players

Bloomin' heck!

O'Brien and Mulhern in particular are good for me and despite the vitriol pouring out of a certain rugby town to the south of Leigh, I have also rated Holmes and just hope that Lam can turn his career around. He was certainly good at Cas.

Can anyone confirm which overseas players are staying and who is leaving? Thought that would have been mentioned today.

Next seasons squad:

Ipape (quota)
Jones
Lam
Leutele (quota)
MacDonald (quota)
Mellor
Mulhern
Nakubuwai (quota)
Nisbet
O'Brien
O'Donnell (quota)
Reynolds
Smith
Wardle
Wilde
Amone (quota)
Asiata (quota)
Brand
Briscoe
Chamberlain
Charnley
Davis
Ferguson (quota)
Gannon
Hardaker
Holmes
Hughes

Seems to me like one of those has to go, and if rumours are correct it will be MacDonald.

27 have been announced as per the post above. One overseas needs to go though as we have 8.
